They will reflect on how the law, colonial continuities, and political discourse impacts the types of claims survivors of such border violence can raise, the many obstacles to accessing justice, and prevailing impunity for this practice. They will also discuss potential challenges and strategies for revealing and addressing these patterns at the European level.
